The Wicked GT 2016: Scenario #2 now available and Golden Toto WIP!
Just about 1 month away from the 2nd annual Wicked GT and we are getting excited at bringing you another great GT to kick of the latest era of wargaming in the 9th Age movement! I wanted to make a quick post to let everybody know the latest with the Wicked GT and what you can expect in just about one month!
First, Scenario #2 is now available! We are working on the remaining Scenarios and they should be released within a few weeks. Your journey through the Magical Land of Oz continues as you find companionship in three unlikely heroes – The Scarecrow, The Tin Man, and The Lion! Check out Scenario #2 to find out how they play into your journey through Oz!
Another item that I’d like to share is the latest WIP pictures of the Golden Toto Painting Competition trophy! Brian Hunter (@bambamhunter) has been working his ass of getting this done so that you can walk away with your very own by participating in the Golden Toto Painting Competition! Remember that it’s a separate event and has a small participation fee for your entries! There’s 4 categories and each winner will walk home with one of these custom trophies that you can only find at the Wicked GT!
And so that you’re well aware, here’s some upcoming important dates to remember (Note: February 19th is just 2 days away so if you’re ready to pay then go ahead and do so in order to avoid paying the higher cost!!):
– Cost goes up to $55: February 19, 2016
– All funds due: Payment is the only way to secure a spot in the Wicked GT, so ASAP.
– Army lists due: March 4, 2016
– Last day for refunds: February 21, 2016
Also, here’s a few other notes of interest:
– Gem Bags! We’re working on the contents of this years Gem Bags. In addition to the tokens that you’ll get for Scarecrow, Tin Man, and Lion you’re also going to be getting Wound Markers, Dark Shard Tokens, and Charge / Flee arrows! Every participant will receive this gem bag upon registering for the Wicked GT on March 18th! Pictures coming soon!
– The 9th Age GT Circuit Hub! A new facebook page has been created to showcase all of the 9th Age GTs that are taking place over the next year. They are spread out all across the United States and this page will be a collection of information for all of these GTs. Make sure to check it out to find out what area will be running a 9th Age GT near you! Search for 9th Age GT Circuit Hub.
– 9th Age! Don’t forget that the Wicked GT will be featuring the 9th Age rules! Make sure to visit their site and get yourself familiarized! (www.the-ninth-age.com)
– Raffle! Throughout the weekend we’ll be handing out raffle prizes at random times during the GT. If you were here last year then you’re well aware that we have tons of stuff to hand out. So make sure to get yourself signed up to get your name put into the daily raffle! You’ll receive a numbered gem upon registering and this will be your raffle number throughout the weekend!
– Booze! We will have a keg of Bud Light available and several types of liquor to make you simple cocktails. The beautiful waitresses are primed and ready to serve you drinks, cocktails, beer, and refreshments throughout the weekend! Remember that it’s only $5 to get you a Saturday drinking pass! Let’s have a great time!!
